Music Lessons | ShAw Strings

Shaw Strings has been offering violin and viola lessons in Hagerstown, Maryland and Shepherdstown, West Virginia since May 2011.

Over the years I have worked with hundreds of students, seen them approach challenges in and out of the lesson room and witnessed how they rose above those obstacles! Parents have seen their children develop into musicians while building resilience and grit that carries over to all areas of their lives. Non-traditional students have found a community to connect with and a way to be a lifelong learner.

Regardless of the student’s age or current ability, I aim to help students develop a love of music along with participation and appreciation for the arts in Hagerstown, Maryland and our surrounding areas.

I am so proud of the many people I have come in contact with through this adventure!
